Camera systems for forklift trucks

Efficiency is an important key concept in warehouses and distribution centers. To ensure high efficiency, all forklifts must provide optimum safety and the best possible performance. Orlaco camera monitor systems offer the ideal vision solution for all types of truck, helping forklift operators to achieve these goals. In addition, these systems increase driver comfort, as drivers no longer need to turn their head and neck to gain a view of loads, shelves and aisles. We develop high-quality, professional vision solutions for every situation, with the aim of increasing safety, efficiency and comfort.

Vision is our Mission®

In Orlaco's view, there should always be optimum vision around all reach trucks, counterbalance forklifts, side loaders and narrow-aisle trucks. Orlaco works closely with OEMs around the world to integrate camera monitor systems. In addition, Orlaco develops and manufactures standard and custom vision solutions specifically for the aftermarket.

Our camera monitor systems are developed and produced according to the highest quality standards. Specifically, we comply with international automotive standards such as IATF 16949 and work with proven automotive methods such as APQP/PPAP.

Fork view

Pick up pallets correctly straight away with Orlaco's Fork view system. With a camera mounted on the inside of the right-hand fork, you will see on the monitor whether the fork is positioned correctly, making it easy to avoid inserting the forks incorrectly and increasing safety when picking up or putting down pallets. This system pays for itself by reducing damage and increasing efficiency and driver comfort.

View-on-forks

In a View-on-forks system, the camera is mounted on the fork carriage, giving the driver a clear view of the forks or other front-end attachments via the monitor. This allows the driver to move the truck into the best position to pick up or put down goods correctly on the first attempt, making it easy to reduce the risk of damage and accidents.

Mid-mast view

A Mid-mast view provides you with a direct view of the forks or front-end attachment after free lift of the stage. This system also makes it easy to see over the load, allowing you to put it down or pick it up correctly on the first attempt. This helps you to work more efficiently and safely and avoid damage, while the direct view on the monitor offers increased comfort.

Front view

In narrow-aisle forklifts (man-up forklifts), the driver has a limited view—or no view at all—of the aisle in front of the truck. The front-view camera system provides the driver with a direct view of the floor in front of the truck, revealing dead spots and obstacles, preventing damage, and allowing the driver to work far more efficiently.

RearView

With an Orlaco rear-view camera on your forklift, you can gain a better view of the working area to the rear of the truck and drive more safely when reversing. This allows you to avoid damage to the forklift, warehouse, goods and people. The monitor in the cab switches automatically to the rear view when reverse gear is engaged. You can also set the system to continuous or manual operation.

RadarEye

With a rear-view camera combined with RadarEye on your forklift, you can always reverse safely. This camera system is equipped with reversing sensors that warn you immediately about hazardous situations via audible signals and graphic overlays. The Orlaco RadarEye system can be enhanced with multiple sensors, for example to detect additional hazardous areas.
