In Orlaco's view, there should always be optimum vision around all reach stackers, empty container handlers, and straddle carriers. Orlaco works closely with OEMs around the world to integrate camera monitor systems. In addition, Orlaco develops and manufactures standard and custom vision solutions specifically for the aftermarket.

View-on-Twistlocks
When picking up containers, the operator has a restricted view of the twistlocks. This means that it is difficult and time-consuming to position containers correctly and lock them securely. Our view-on-twistlock cameras provide a clear view of the twistlocks on both sides of the spreader, making the handling of containers quicker and safer.
Top-View
When putting down a container, it blocks the operator's view. Top-view cameras give the operator the visibility they need to lower containers with ease onto flat wagons or trucks. The monitor in the cab also provides the operator with a clear view of the area in front of the reach stacker, meaning that other vehicles, people and obstacles are all clearly visible.
Positioning System
Straddle carriers are essential for moving containers for the likes of STS cranes and trucks. Due to time pressure, optimum efficiency and safety are crucial. An Orlaco positioning system allows the straddle carrier operator to optimally position the containers in the gangway beneath the STS crane so that the crane can pick up the containers in a single straight line. Two cameras on the left and right of the straddle carrier allow the operator to see precisely whether the containers are in the right position in the middle of the gangway. Using the positioning line on the monitor and the lines at the base of the STS crane, containers can be positioned highly accurately.
Side View
Turning or changing direction is a lot easier with an Orlaco side-view camera. The area immediately next to the straddle carrier is easy to see, as is the other transporter approaching the vehicle. With a side-view camera, each maneuver is a lot safer, more efficient and more comfortable, and other vehicles and obstacles are clearly visible. This camera monitor system can be combined with a rear-view camera system to further optimize the view.
RearView
With an Orlaco rear view camera on your container handler, you can gain a better view of the working area to the rear of the vehicle and drive more safely when reversing. This allows you to avoid damage to the container handler, containers, goods and people. The monitor in the cab switches automatically to the rear view when reverse gear is engaged. You can also set the system to continuous or manual operation.
RadarEye
With a rear-view camera combined with RadarEye on your container handler, you can always reverse safely. This camera system is equipped with reversing sensors that warn you immediately about hazardous situations via audible signals and graphic overlays. The Orlaco RadarEye system can be enhanced with multiple sensors, for example to detect additional hazardous areas.
