Orlaco develops camera monitor systems for all types of dredging vessels. An Orlaco camera and monitor provide added value to any operation on board a dredging vessel. Whether used to view a draghead, engine room or overflow, a camera system allows the operator to view all operations at a glance. With the possibility of choosing between a fixed camera, zoom camera or a zoom camera on a pan & tilt unit, the right camera can be selected for any situation.
This camera provides the operator with a good view of all people working on the deck, the machinery, and the equipment on deck.
A PTZ camera is used to view the position of the draghead, either on the starboard or port side of the vessel. With the possibility to maneuver the camera to the left and right, and up and down, the whole area can be scanned. The integrated zoom function makes it possible to view the operation in full detail.
This camera is used to check the drainage of water. With a view of the overpressure, the operator can take immediate action if something goes wrong during work.
Pump room view
The pump room is often unmanned and there is then no visual of this area. A camera can provide the operator with a good view of the dredging pumps.
Engine room view
The engine room is not always manned and there is then no visual of this area. With the help of a camera, the operator can detect oil leakages or smoke formation early on, even before a warning is emitted by a detection system.
