Stoneridge-Orlaco Presents Next-Generation Digital Vision Solutions at BAUMA 2022

Stoneridge-Orlaco will be represented at BAUMA 2022 in Munich (Germany) from October 24 – 30, 2022. During the show, we will showcase some of our latest smart vision solutions for the construction industry.

By improving the operator's visibility with Stoneridge-Orlaco's next-generation products, safety on a construction site will be further improved. Our digital vision solutions are designed for jobsite conditions and help reduce blind spots and raise operators' awareness of their surroundings — resulting in a safer site with less equipment damage and downtime and more confident, productive operators.

Detect People and Objects with SmartCAM
During BAUMA, we will be demonstrating our high-end SmartCAM. This advanced smart camera actively identifies and automatically tracks jobsite personnel. When a person is detected, the system warns the driver with visual alerts based on proximity on the machine, decreasing operator alert fatigue. Visit our booth to experience all the benefits of this new high-tech system.

Digital Solutions for the Construction Sector
Furthermore, we will be giving a preview of our 10-inch ELED digital monitor in conjunction with the EMOS I Ethernet camera and its successor, the EMOS II camera. The new high-definition 10-inch ELED offers a high resolution that delivers razor-sharp images, providing operators with an optimum view of their working environment. The compact design makes the ELED ideal for vision solutions on construction machinery, cranes and forklifts.

Digital Loadview Camera System for Cranes
Stoneridge-Orlaco will also be presenting the Digital LoadView wireless high-definition (HD) camera system concept. Thanks to this high-end system, the crane operator will have a razor sharp view of instructions being given by the rigger, as well as of the lifting hook, the load and lifting surroundings. This will make it possible for the crane operator to raise and lower the hook effortlessly and more assuredly, making lifting operations safer and getting the job done within the time available. The Digital LoadView camera system will be suitable for installation on equipment such as telescopic cranes, tower cranes, crawler cranes and harbor cranes.

Smart Solutions of the Future
The construction site of the future will be largely driven by vehicle connectivity, cloud-based features and artificial intelligence (AI). Algorithms that analyze live images and scanning them for safety hazards, smart robotics taking over repetitive construction activities improving productivity and cost-effectively and self-driving construction machinery delivering loads more efficiently, minimizing delays and fuel use. At Stoneridge-Orlaco, we understand these market trends and are moving from operator sight to adding operational insights for our customers in the form of custom safety reports based on smart vision systems connected via the cloud.
