Orlaco introduces new developments for the truck market
In a continuous effort to refine it’s camera and monitor systems Orlaco continues to develop and innovate. The LEDD and RLED monitors for the truck market have undergone a technical improvement. Orlaco has also added a new type of camera to its product range: the CMOS Compact Colour Camera.
The LEDD and RLED monitors have undergone technical improvements and now comply with European legislation. The biggest change concerns the use of Led Backlight technology, which yields quite a lot of advantages.The monitor does not get as hot, also it provides a better image when exposed to sunlight. The monitor comes with built-in fish-eye correction. The cameras are now available with a CMOS chip. This new technology ensures that the image on the monitor is further improved. The CMOS technology provides an enhanced quality image in the dark, and the camera responds positively to changing light exposure.
Strict quality requirements.
The monitors and cameras meet European technical and safety requirements. To verify this, the Government Road Transport Agency has issued the official approval certificates for the LEDD and RLED monitors as well as the CMOS Compact Colour Camera in relation to the European Mirror Directive. The Government Road Transport Agency is a reputable Dutch agency that is authorised to issue these official European certificates. Furthermore, the previous E4 certificate has been reissued. This means our products comply with the extremely strict requirements that apply to the automobile industry.

The Orlaco camera system has now been integrated as a front view solution in the type Approval of various DAF and Scania vehicles.

• Scania : e4*2003/97*2005/27*2500*05
For other makes, such as Volvo, MAN and Mercedes, various test reports are available with regard to front view legislation, which were drawn up in collaboration with truck importers.
