We provide for example truck drivers with an extra pair of eyes, and we also try to make children more aware of the dangers of the blind spot and how they should handle blind spot situations in the traffic. One of the organisations that have been a great help to us is the OSC, the Dutch association for road transport operators. When Orlaco takes part in a trade fair, we often hand out colouring in sheets and in this way we try and get the children involved. During this last summer, we took part in the ‘Transport day’’ in Raalte in The Netherlands. This was a big event which attracted many visitors from the region.
