Official transfer by president of Argentina
President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner of Argentina has proudly transferred 32 forest fire vehicles to the fire department of Argentina. The vehicles are equipped with Orlaco's Thermal Image Cameras.
Argentina has the scoop, when it comes to the installation of thermal imaging cameras for this type of vehicles. These cameras make it possible to drive to the fire through the smoke. The first 32 vehicles were built by Jacinto Ltda in Portugal and are provided by CMS Sudamericana SRL. After a technical training, by Tijmen van Ginkel from Orlaco, the vehicles are now being used.
