Van der Spek rents out tower crane with Orlaco's trolley camera in Slovakia
Van der Spek, specialist in selling and hiring out tower cranes, has hired out a tower crane equipped with an Orlaco trolley camera to a plant in Slovakia.
Van der Spek, with branches in Vianen (the Netherlands) and Ternat (Belgium), has been representing Libeherr tower cranes since the fifties. Via its partner, Kranimex, Van der Spek has rented out a Liebherr 630 EC-H25 Litronic in Slovakia. The crane is used for the commissioning of two units of the nuclear plant in Mochovce, to assist in the assembly of various systems. The plant is one of two operated by Slovenské Elektrárne in Slovakia. The tower crane has a jib length of 37.4 metres and a hook height of about 63 metres. With its maximum capacity of 25 tons, the crane reaches a span of nearly thirty metres and the hoisting load on the tip is 19.6 tons. The crane is fitted with an Orlaco trolley camera to provide maximum visibility during hoisting and assembly activities in the units. |

In order to stay out of the chimney's range during the job, the ABB (Arbeits Bereich Begrenzung), standard on all Liebherr Litronic cranes, has been activated.
The expansion activities of the Slovakian plant will run into 2013 and cost 2.775 billion Euros.
