Orlaco is active in many fields. We provide for example truck drivers with an extra pair of eyes, and we also try to make children more aware of the dangers of the blind spot and how they should handle blind spot situations in the traffic. One of the organisations that have been a great help to us is the OSC, the Dutch association for road transport operators. When Orlaco takes part in a trade fair, we often hand out colouring in sheets and in this way we try and get the children involved. During this last summer, we took part in the ‘Transport day’’ in Raalte in The Netherlands. This was a big event which attracted many visitors from the region. The Roosma family also visited the show and was very impressed with all the exhibitions.

Once home, the children got out their colouring in pencils and felt-tip pens and started on their Orlaco master pieces. Their enormous efforts were well worth it as the whole family won a prize! The three children, Dion, Milan and Thijmen were astonished when the postman delivered their huge presents on Tuesday the 27th of October. Mrs Roosma told us that they were so excited that they did not even want to go back to school on Tuesday afternoon. Once again, we would like to congratulate Dion, Milan and Thijmen and wish them all the best with their presents.
