The new RLCD monitor: ideal for off-road vehicles

Earth moving, agricultural and road construction machines operate in tough conditions. Heavy jolts, constant vibration, changing temperatures, damp and dirt place high demands on the technology used, which is why Orlaco is introducing the new RLCD monitor, currently combined with a camera.

More and more off-road vehicles worldwide are being fitted with Orlaco camera systems. This trend is largely attributable to the ISO 5006 standard , which specifies that the area 1 metre around the vehicle must be clearly visible to a height of 1.5 metres.

It has been demonstrated that the vision solutions from Orlaco allow machine operators to work more quickly and efficiently. The risk of accidents and damage is reduced and the level of comfort for the machine operator is increased, as he can see the whole of the area around his vehicle at a glance.

Resistant to considerable strain
Not only the cameras but also the monitors on off-road vehicles have to function under the most difficult conditions. This is why Orlaco has developed the RLCD camera, which is extremely shock and vibration-resistant.  The monitor meets the highest requirements: IP67 water-resistant and an EMC resistance of 100 volts per metre. The new On-Screen Display makes the monitor particularly user-friendly.
